Benefits of Full Bleed
Full bleed is when the printing extends to the very edge of the page, whereas a page without full bleed would have a 1/4 inch white border on the edges of the paper.
Full bleed is a design choice that is widely used to improve the quality of the printed piece, as well as maintain continuity for certain spread sheet print pages. Generally speaking, people respond better to full bled print pieces, and full bleed seems to convey a higher quality product.
Full bleed is used in nearly every print type of print project, such as business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, etc. Certain types of prints do not need full bleed, such as document printing, but for marketing or presentation pieces it is recommended.
